of Mrs. Isabel Adams for a week.
Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Kennedy
received word on Sunday that
their elder son Robert, of the
R.C.M.P. Ottawa, had received
a promotion to Sgt. of the Force.
Airs. Mervyn Pipe had the
misfortune to fall Saturday on a
rough section of sidewalk in front
of Jack Hall's barber shop.
Breaking her glasses in the fall,
her right eyelid and the area
around the eye were injured.
