Kennedy received word on Sunday that their elder son Robert, of the R.C.M.P. Ottawa, had received a promotion to Sgt. of the Force. Airs. Mervyn Pipe had the misfortune to fall Saturday on a rough section of sidewalk in front of Jack Hall's barber shop.
