Miss Sharonitevenson was
honoured with a nliscellenecPS
shower in the Cranbrook. Com-
munity Centre on Friday evening
when a large number of friends,
neighbours and relatives
gathered for a social time to-
gether. Several games and, con-
tests were conducted by Mrs.
Jim Knight and Mrs. Jack Knight.
Corsages were pinned on the
bride-to-be, her mother, Mrs.
Stuart Stevenson and Mrs.George
Blake, mother of the groom-to-
be. They were seated at the
front and Miss Janet Veitch read
an address. A nicely decorated
wagon filled with gifts was drawn
by two little girls, Joanne and
Karen Knight.
Sharon expressed her appre-
ciation for the many beautiful
and useful gifts and invited all
to a trousseau tea at her home on
Oct. 7, also to visit her, later in
her new home on the 9th con.
Mr. and Mrs. L, G. Ingram
from. Pa.nama C ity Beach, Florida
and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hum-
phreys, Lions Head, visited with
Mr. and Mrs. Russel Knight.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob.Paris and ,
family, Midland, visited Mr. and
Mrs. Alex Cameron and took in
the Ploughing Match.
Misses Myra McNair and
Marie Veitch, London, were home
for the week end.
Mrs. Calvin Cameron spent
a few days visiting Mr. and. Mrs.
Oscar Huehn, Conestoga.
Carman Fischer, Rexdale,
spent the week end with his
parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Jacklin and
children,Bloomingdale, visited
on Sunay with Mr. and Mrs:
Earl Dunn.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Small-
don, St. Petersburg, Indiana,
visited relatives here last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Armstrong,
Fergus, attended Knox Church
