Mrs. Harvey Dennis returned
home from Victoria Hospital,
London on Friday.
Mrs. Don Martin left Brus-
sels this week to make her home
in Kitchener.
About fifty persons from
Brussels were in Clinton Monday
afternoon when members of the
Evening Unit of the Brussels
United Church arranged a pro-
gramme for the residents of
Huronview.
Jack Thynne, acted as Master
of Ceremonies, as well as enter-
taining with hi s violin, singing
and reciting. Mary Bryans,
pianist, directed a quartette con-
sisting of Betty Campbell, Nelva
Scott, Sarah Stephenson and Barb
McCutcheon, as well as the choir.
Selwyn Baker on the
harmonica, assisted by Betty
Campbell on the piano
played several old time melodies.
The University of waterloo
held its twenty-fourth Convoca,
tion for the conferment of
Degrees on. Friday, mr. Robert.
Ian, Harris, son of Mr. and, Mrs.
Arthur Harris, Islington, Ont,
received his Bachelor of Science
degree in the Honours Science
Programme (Applied Chem-
istry). Attending from. Brussels
were Mr. and Mrs. Ross Nichol,
Mrs. Lorne Nichol, Mrs. Anne
Thynne, and Mrs. Marlene Yuill.
Mr. and Mrs. Ian Harris
(Marg Nichol) have Just returned
from a tour in Europe.
George Hislop, who underwent
surgery in Victoria Hospital, re-
turned home on Sunday.
