years may be elegible to enter.
Contestants will :be judged on the basis of
Personality, Charm, short interview and
overall appearance.
Deadline for entries June 17'
The committee are asking any group, organ-
ization, business, society or church to sponsor
one or more girls and they would be under no
obligation, other than giving them her name
and her conent to participate. It is not neces-
sary to have a sponsor in order to enter.

The Clinton Centre offers individualized learning in an
adult daytime programme (8:30-2:30). Programmes in
Academic Upgrading Grades 1-8 and 9 & 10, Commercial
Grades 11 & 12 and Refresher, and Certified Visiting
Homemaking are already in operation.
The Academic Upgrading diploma fOr Grade 12 equivalent
is recognized by Business and Industry, Colleges, Schools of
Nursing, etc.
Entrance Requirements:
a) Grade 10 or equivalent
b) Minimum age 19
or
One year out of school

a gift. Mrs. L. Weber conducted
the business. A bee to make the
new drapes for the Community
Centre will be held June' 1st.
Those lades of the community
wishing to help clean and sew
are asked to attend. The bus
trip to Chatsworth FishHatchery
will be June 14th.
Flower beds will be looked
after and a float entered in the
Brussels parade. Lunch was
served by Mrs. Geo. Heimstra,
Mrs. Cornellius and the
hostess.

The Brussels Ladies Curling
Club didn't forget clean up days
for Centennial.
They bought the necessary
white paint and on Monday night

the boards around the ice, sur-
