The Brussels Bowling League
held their annual banquet Friday
evening at the Brussels Legion
Hall. Following dinner trophies
were presented to: ,
Men's - High Average - Gord
Matheson; High Aggregate -
Greg Huether; High Triple -
Harold Hergott; High Single -
Gordon Smith.
Ladies' - High Average - Jane
Ward; High Aggregate - Mar-
lene Rutledge; High Triple -
Ruth Huether; High Single -
Helen Adams.
The top team for the season
was "Howie's Hellers" consis-
ting of: Howie Baker, Joyce Trie-
bner, Marion Hergott, GregHue-
ther, Doug. Huether, Gordon
Madan.
The last team "Ray's Raid-
ers" consisting of - Ray Adams,
Jack Higgins, Mel M'Cutcheon,
Joyce Jacklin, Bonnie Wilson and
Doris Matheson were presented
last place bowling pins.
The top place team for the
Bowl Off was 4,Merle's Gasers"
consisting of Merle Freeman,
Harold Hergott, Marlene Rut-
ledge, Ruth Huether, Delores
Wheeler, Marilyn Higgins. The

The evening was concluded
with a dance with entertainment
provided by Ian Wilbee's Orch-
estra. Spot dances were won
by Wayne Jacklin and Bonnie
Pennington and Mr. and Mrs.
Tom Stevenson. The highlight
of the evening were the three
draws which were won by •
1st prize - Shelly Long - $25;
2nd, prize - Edna Martin - $15;
3rd prize - Jack Higgins - $10.
