Rev. Wallace J. Murray,

Miss Sharon Stevenson is one
of 29 belonging to the Geography
Club of Seaforth High School who
will fly to Germany for two weeks,
leaving March 16.
The fourth meeting of Cran-
brook I "Sleeping Beauties" was
held on March 11, at the home of
Janet Veitch. The minutes were
read by Barbara Ducharme. Mrs.
Clare Veitch demonstrated
facings and understitching. Bias
binding and corded piping were
demonstrated by Mrs. Ross
Knight. For group work each
merriber made a sample of bias

INSTITUTE MEETS
Mrs. Frank Workman was
hostess for the March meeting
of the Cranbrook Women's In-
stitute. Thirteen members an-
swered the roll call "A
health rule I would emphasize to
a child". Mrs. Urban Ducharme
reported on tta East Huron
Executive meeting held in the
Cranbrook Community Centre.
Members decided on the first
and the second choice of Training
Schools and Short Courses to be
held in 1972. An historical Atlas
of Huron County" will be pur-
chased and placed in the
Cra.nbrook Library.
Current events were given by
Mrs. Leslie Knight. "Feed
families what they require,
rather than what they desire" was
an interesting motto given by
Mrs. John Strickler.
Mrs. Roberton, area public
health nurse, was introduced by
Mrs. John Strickler. She told
of her work visiting the schools,
homes where there were new

babies and also visiting some of
the older folk. Mrs. Jack Cox
thanked Mrs. Roberton and pre-
sented her with a gift.
Lunch was served by Mrs.
Cox, Mrs. Strickler and Mrs.
Workman.
