4-H Meetings
The fifth meeting of the Walton
II "Dairy Daisies" which was
held at the Walton Community
Hall, was a special meeting with
all three clubs taking part and
Miss Catharine Hunt, our Home
Economist wa s present. Miss
Hunt spoke a.nd dicussed the next
project with us, "Sleepwear"
which will take place the Spring
of '72. For a demonstration all
three clubs took part. Walton I,
club members making chipdip;
Walton II made dandy candy and
Walton, made. Butterseotch
fudge. These were all, tasted and
enjoyed by the members, leaders
and Home Economist. The next
meeting will be held in October
23 at' the assistant leader's home.
The "Dairy _Daisies" held their
sixth meeting at the home of Mrs.
Don McDonald with Debbie van
van Vliet reading the minutes of
the proceeding meeting. We had
the discussion for both meetings
receiving hand out sheets for
each on "Featuring Proteins" and
"Spotlighting Dairy Desserts" As
the demonstration we enjoyed
Lemon Chiffon Pudding and
Cheese Drop Cookies made by
Joycee and Mary Ann Balke and
Heather and Pat McDonald. They
Were tasted and found delicious.
The next meeting will, be held at
the home of the leader, Mrs. Don
Nolan.
