After several postponements
the Cranbrook W. I. met at the
home of Mrs. Leslie Knight with
a good attendance. The roll call

Mrs, Jack Cox gave the motto "lt

and thirteen to smile. Why work
overtime?"' and ended by singing

The twice postponed February
meeting of the. Afternoon Group
of the W.M.S. was held on Fridge*,
February 12th, at the home of
Mrs, Earl T)unn. Eight. members
and one visitor attended, Mrs,
Glare Veitch opened the -meeting
and Hymn 694 was sung. The
Script ire reading from Acts 2
was reed in unison, Mrs. Veitch
gave the meditation. and Mrs.
Earl Dunn led in prayer. A read,
ing `My Daily Prayer" was giVen
by Miss Alice Forrest. Hymn
606 was sung followed by the
-topic. This was given by Mrs,
John A. Perrie in the form of an
interesting outline or synopsis of
the study "Hew the Word. Gets
Around". Mrs. Lytle Gordon read
"What Is a Friend?" The business
was condeeted by Mrs. Wilfred,
Stilekler, presidetet. The score-
three 'Mrs., Stanley Fischer read
the minutes and a thart-yon note.
She also told of the Exeeetive,

dreev's Presbyterian Church,
Stratford, on March 9. The Woild
