dancing to the music of Ian

Achievement Day .
The "Huron County Achieve-
ment Day" wale held in Seaforth
-High School, Saturday, April 18th,
when 15 girls and their leaders
of the community attended, this
concluding the spring project On
"reaturieg Fruit". The day'';
activities were planhed by the
new economist for Huron, Miss
Catherine M. Hunt. essieted by
INIT'S, Patricia JeckSon, Regional
Supervisor of. London, and Mrs,
Joyce Patterson; home economist
of Lambton County. Mane, Mothers
and guests attended the afternoon
program which consisted of ex-
hibits, skits: and demonstrations
by the .1-11 Cites, Presentations
were made to two of the Walton
girls, Linda Johnston and Lynne
McDonald who received their
County Honors, Which consisted
of a certificate and pin for six
completed projects.

held their annual bazaar in Duff's
United Church, Wednesday, even,
lug April 15, The guests were
received in the anditoriuM of the
church by Mrs. Allan McCall and
Gerald 'Watson, Prior to the
devotional service music was sup-
plied by Mrs. Roy frnether at the
Plano and Mrs. E.Intnerson Mitch-
ell playing the violin, Mrs. A Mc-
Call opened the meeting with the

singing of TTYPen 86, "When 7 sur-
vey the wondrous Cross", with
Mrs, Ray Huether as pianist.
Prayer' was given by Mrs. Cilrald
Watson. A word of welcome was
extended to all, by Mrs. A. McCall,
for their presence, and hoping all
enjoyed the ,evenine together. A
musical number was given by
Mrs. Herb TI'aViSS playing the
piano and Mrs. le. Mitchell the
violin. coneluding with zi lovely
duet entitled. "flet Will Take

read the scripture from Psalm 16.
The offering was received by Mrs,

Achilles, and dedicated by Mr8. A.
McCall. Mrs. Watson introduce
