sels for the Mrs. John Evans
Estate. A monster crowd attemital
including a record number of
auctioneer's regular Jintiquo
buyers.
The large setectiou antique-
brought fantastic prices. Tin, auct-

CROP REPORT
Slags havo been causing a great
deal off damage in the corn, At
night t hey eat the young corn
leaves. Scuffling corn helps car
down the slug population. 'Disease
and insect problems have been re-
ported in the bean cropS. Also it
sems a disease problem is otTur-
ring in the wheat. The wheat
problem so far has been reported
mainly in. the Kippen area. We are
awaiting a, report from the Hni.-
versity of Guelph concerning the
wheat problem..
