annual milk production per herd
was '339,600 pounds of milk, more
than double the Miantity produced
by the average herd in the prov-
ince.
Feed consumed in those herds
studied average 3487 pounds of
grain and Supplements per cow.
Hay ei-ftilvalents was 5.1 tons
and the adjusted acreage of past-
ure was equal to 1.6 acres per cow.,
