Florally Attend St. Mary's
Graduation 'Exerdse;s
I\lr. and Mrs, Eldon Wilson and
family attended the 1968 Grad-
nation Exercises of St, Mary's
Hospital, Kitchener.
The graduation was held at Fair-
view Cinema on Fairway Road,
Kitchener,
711e theatre was, filled with, 1,200
relatives and close friends of the
graduates who received their
diplomas and pins from Bishop
Joseph, P. Ryan of Hamilton,
There were 5.0 graduates which
included two male students, the
first male students to graduate
from. St. Mary's. It was also the
largest class to graduate.
Gale youngest daughter
of Mr, and Mrs. Elden Wilson was
among the gradnates..
Mrs. John Kelly, aunt of the
graduate' gave a dinner in her
hollows after the graduation.
Guests attended from Bayfield,
'Cl'oderich and Brussels.

Wins Scholarship
Mr. Stuart Nichol, son of Mrs,
Eleanor Nichol and the late Frank
Nichol, was among the graduating
class at the University of Guelph
on May 22, 1968.
Mr. Nichol received the Ontario
Degree or Eprticulture and grad-
uated with distinction, having won
the Canadian Nursery Trades
Association Scholarship for attain-
ins the highest mark in any
section of the program.
Mr. Nichol is under contract
with the Toronto Secondary School
Board to teach his Specialty at,
the new West Park Vocational
School, presently under construct-
ion at Bloor and Dundas Streets,

He operates a Ghia hatchery at
Zurich and is a director of the
Ifilron,Perth division, of the :poultry
and egg marketing board,

he beat the Liberal Candidate,
Maitland Edgar, who was again
chosen this time by the Liberals;
Mr. McKinley poled 10,666 as ,com-
pared to Mr. Edgar's 9,536

criticized Prime Minister Tru-
deau's proposed changes to the
Criminal. Code that would legalize
abortion in certain cases, homo-
sexuality among, consenting
adults who are over 21. Ee said
this was "tampering with the basic
traditions of our way of life".
He said the federal government
should pay more of the costs of
education..
Massive imports, he said, are
destroying Canada's agricultural
industry,
