Melville Ladies Aid met at the
home of Mrs. Davis Monday
afternoon at 2:30, April 1st.. The
president, Mrs. Evans, was in the
chair. 'The Devotional part was
taken by Mrs.. Williams and Mrs.
Shaw. A hymn was sting.
Reports from the secretary
Mrs. C. Kerr, and thetreasurer,
Mrs, 11; Dennis, were read.
Roll call Was responded to by an
Easter Thought. Mrs. W. King
read Current events and the of-
fering was received. A hymn Was
snag. During a short program that
follOWed Mrs. George 'Evans gave
a reading from ;The Road Side
Window" on spring Time with
its many happy events. Mrs.
Matheson gave a reading and Mrs.
Steiss and Mrs. Shaw conducted'
a 'Tree" contest. The meeting
closed with the Mizpah Beted 7:
diction, Mrs. Dennis and Mrs.
Matheson served a delicious lunch.
