have passed a by-law to regulate the installation of new entrance
ways and the improvement of existing entrance ways that impede
the flow of water.
The by-laws require:
1. That any person' wishing to have a new entrance way installed
to his property from any Huron County Road or Township Road
of the Townships listed MUST secure a permit from the County
Engineer, or Township Road Superintendent as the case may be.
2. That the work will be done by the municipality only after the
permit is issued,
3. That the owner must pay for the work.
4. That only new corrugated metal pipe will be used.
All proper existing entrance ways will be maintained and replaced
(when required) by the municipality, as in the past, at no cost to
to the owner.
For further information, a copy of the by-law or permit application
forms, contact the County Engnieer, Court House, Goderich, Ontario,
Cr the appropriate Township Road Superintendent, or Clerk at his
municipal office.

Sellers WeS born in Morris Town-
ship, a son of the late Henry
and Mrs. Sellers, and came west
in 1907, hoMeStendling in the
Vanoge district. in 1914 he Wel-4
east and married Florence South,
daughter- of the. late Wm. J. and
Mrs. Souch, They returned and
continued to farm in the area
until 1947, when they moved to
Victoria, B.O. They returned to
the farm four years later, retir-
ing in 1956 and moving to Moose.
Jaw. MT. Sellers was, a member of
the Saskatchewan wheat pool, He
is survived by his wife, Florence,
throe sons, James of Kingston,
Ont,, Fred of Nanaimo, B. 0. and
Delmere of North Burnaby, B. C.
Two daughters, Mrs. Glen Harrell
of 'Wainwright, Alta., and. Mrs.
Fred Snelling of Victoria, B. O.

ent for the special 101st anniver-
sary service of Knox. Presbyterku
Church. Many former friends wel-
comed the special speaker, Mr.
Edwin G.. Nelson, and family. A
duet was, contributed by Mrs.
Nelson and Mrs. Doug bvaus.
Mr. Nelson has one more year
at Montreal College to complete
his studies for the ministry.
The service in Knox Church on
Soptember 4th will be held at
9:45 with Rev. Charles Winn in
charge following a month's holi-
day.

Anniversary of 4-H Club Work
The August meeting of the
Cranbrook W.I. was to celebrate
the 15th anniversary of 4-H Club
work. In the absence of Mrs.
lack Steele, Scotland, (Helen
Knight) the first president, Mrs.
John Doherty, Goderich, (Anne
Steffler) the first Vice President,
acted as chairinan for the meet-
ing. Maxine Smalldoti, one Of the
first girls to reedit Provincial
henors, acted as secretary. The
