All crops are in need of rain. If the dry spell continues, spring grains and white beans may be adversely affected. Sugar beets in the area are uneven in some fields. Canning peas are yielding at least as well as last yeas, but later sown peas need more moisture. Pasture are beginning to suffer from the dry conditions.
