Watt, blyth f— President ANNUAL MEETING HURON TB ASSOCIATION An interesting visitor in Elyth on Monday, May 30, 1906, will be E. J, O'Brien, Executive Director Ontario Tuberculosis Assoc- iation, Whii will be guest speaker at the annual meeting of the Huron 'County TB Association. His subject will be "A Canadian's Viewpoint on the Tuberculosis Problem, and Its Solution in an Emerging 'Country". Mr. ,O'Brien returned recently from South East Asia where he visited India, Ceylon, Malaysia and. Thailand as a member of the International Seminar to advise on development of an anti-tuber- losis program. He has been di- rector of the Ontario Association Since its inception in 1945 and with which Huron 'County Assoc- iation is affiliated. This Is the third occasion on which Mr. O'Brien's services have been loaned to the Inter, national Association and he is conversant with the tuberculos- is problem on a global scale. The relative control of the diseaSe which Ontario enjoys today could be short lived in this jet age unless we not only keep up our defences here, but also re- cognize that, we must assist the struggling voluntary associations in developing countries.
