ENTERTAINS MUSIC PUPILS
A recital and Christmas party
was held at the home of Mrs.
Edwin Martin.
The pupils played technical
work, carols, hymns, duets, trios,
piano and violin duets, chosen
selections, studies and grade
selections and an Anglican Venite
duet.
The door prize was won by
Archie McDonald. The, draw
Prizes were won. by Dorene Car-
diff, Pauline MeCutcheon, Nancy
'Knight. Anne Stratychuk, Coleem
Cardiff, Margaret. Nichol and:
Doreen Riley.
Small consolation prizes were
won by Nancy Adams, Janet
Cardiff, Connie McWhirter, Von.
McCutcheon, Gall M:cWhirter,

A musical contest prize was
won by Doreen Riley, Archie
'McDonald and Pauline McCutch-
eon.
Doreen Riley was presented
with a music book for the most
regular attendance.
Mrs.. Martin showed slides on
Cansrin. A delicious lunch was
served. by the hostesq assisted
by Miss Gwendolyne Martin of

SERVICE AT WROXETER
C. Fingland conducted his last
service at the United Church in
Wroxeter, Sunday, vecember
19th. His faithful leauership over
the past three months has been
appreciated by the congregation.
Mr. Fingland's address was
based on the text, "Beloved, we
are the sons of God".
The choir sang the anthem
"Angels from the Realms of
Glory" and a chorus of ladies
sang "Another Year Is Dawning".
Miss Gwendolyne Martin was
at the piano and accompanied
the organist, Mrs, Edwin Martin,
for the Christmas preludes..
hymns and postlude.
