Injured 'In Car Accident
William. Gerald Miller of RR 3,
Brussels, suffered injuries in a
car accident in Brussels on,
Christmas Eve, when the car he
was driving went out of control
and hit a tree.
Mr. Miller was admitted to
Winghana, hospital where he was•
treated for minor injuries and,
released on Christmas Day.

our sad accident of Christmas

Gerald at the time of the mishap,

OLIVER H. SMITH
Oliver H. Smith, formerly of
Brussels, died in' 7ratraus Saskat-
chewan, on December 29th, in his
90th year.
Mr. Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs.'
John Smith was born on comes-
soin 6, Grey ToWnship. He spent
his early life in the Brussels area.
and moved to Western Canada in
the early 1900's. He is survived
by two sonS, and two daughters.
Mr. Smith was the only brother'
of the late Mrs. Edward. BliyanS.

sels, died after a lengthy illness' in.
Owen. Sound General and Marine
Hospital.
A. native of Chatsworth, he
graduated front WYclieffe College
in 1927, and was ordained in All
Saints, Church, Windsor. He ser-
ved parishes at Dundalk, Tara,
Thortibury, etarkSbnrg, Atwood.
Brussels. Camden, among others.
He resigned becatiSe,, of ill health
last Juno. Mr. Oldham was a
meMber of the, Ontario Education
Association,
