The December meeting was
held in the church basement,
Tuesday evening, December 7th.
Mrs, Harold Bolger evened mile
meeting and Mrs. Jan. van Vliet
read an article on Christmas.
Mrs, Harold Bolger read the
scripture from. Luke: 7-20. Dur-
ing a Carol Service the story of
Silent Night was given by MrS,
Jan van. Vliet. Six carols were,
sung and each carol was repre-
sented by a lady of the group
lighting a candle. Roll call was
answered by 15 ladies. Collectou
was taken and Mrs. Jan van Vliet
gave a recitation ''Twas the
Nigat before Christmas'. The
First Noel" was sung followed
with prayer by Mrs. Harold Bolg-
er. it was utoved by Mrs. Jan van
Vliet seconded by Mrs. Clarence
Martin to have the same officers
for 1966:

The erection of the E
Chapel is almost complete and
will be available for committal
services and storage purposes in
the very near future. This chapel
will afford some comfort and
protection from the weather or
the public attending funerals
during the winter months. Also
this badly needed building will be
a credit to the community as it
indicates a concern for the wel-
fare of its people.
The necessary funds have come
from the following sources: the
townships of Morris and Grey
($300.06 each) and the village of
Brussels ($500.00); also cash
donations from individuals. The
total received at present is
$3,007.03 (from all sources); the
cost of such a project is. $6,700.00
In view of the above informat-
ion we humbly request your
financial assistance either al3 a
memorial to a loved one or a
simple cash donation. It is the
intention of the Board of Truste-
es to have a Memorial list, or
record in. the chapel.

Monday.
He said the Morris Township
Council Showed foresight in
building such a modern bridge to
meet future traffic demands. The
150-foot span over the iviaitland
River would stand as a perman-
ent achievement.
Judge Hetherington, said the
townships of Morris and EaSt
Wawanosh and the town of
Win.gliam have always Deen faced
with bridge problems as three
branches of the Maitland River
flow through these municipalities.
The new concrete bridge —le-
places a 50-year-Old steel one-lane
structure.
Contractor was MOwbray Conti-
struction Ltd. of Wingham.
Reeve Stewart Procter was
chairman for the ceremony.

for Ingersoll, The Meaning of

Jean Stiles, Mary Davidson, Leona
Armstrong, Ruth Pipe, and Esther
Smith, a reading entitled My
Christmas Wish by Margaret
Work, two accordion solos by
