4-H HOMEMAKING CLUB
Fifth Meeting,
The fifth meeting of the Brus-
sels 8 Stitehers was held on Oct-
ober 29th at 7:00 p.m. at the
Devries home. The meeting open.
ed with the 4-H. Pledge.
The minutes were read by
Laurel Hemingway who is there-
fore press reporter.
The roll call "A. suggestion for
improving my record book" was
read, by the eight members pre-
sent.
The next meeting will he held.
on November 6, at. 1:15 at
Devries.
A demonstration of facings and
undarstitching was done by Mrs.
Devries.
A aiscussion was held on plans
for Achievement Day.
The practical work was to
work on the garments.
The meeting closed with "0
Canada" after which lunch was
served.
Sixth Meeting
The sixth meeting of the 4-H
Homemaking Club the Brussels
Stitchers was held on Novemb-
er 6th, at 1:15 p.m. at the Dev-
ries residence.
The meeting was opened with
the 4-H pledge. Gerda, Exel read
the minutes and is press report-

Eighth Meeting,
The eighth meeting or "The
Brussels Bight Stitchers" was
held at the home of Mrs. Gerald
Exel on 'November 20th, with all
members present. The meeting
opened with the 4-Ef pledge. The
minutes were read by joyce
Triebner.
The roll call was something
which I have learned from this
unit with each girl giving her
answer.
Business: It was decided that
there would be a review the
night before Achtievement Day,
at the home of tne leader, Mrs.
Jack Wheeler, on January 21,
1906,

Mrs. Albert G. Vincent, 79, of
Belgrave, died Sunday in Wing-
ham and District Hospital
The former Edna Bertha Mc-
Dowell, she is survived by her
husband; two daughters, Mrs.
Clifford (Dorothy) 'Logan, B el-
grave; Mrs. Roy (v.:dna) Mc-

The funeral service was held
