SCHOOL BOARD.
All members of the Morris
School Board were present at . •
the regular meeting in Brussels
on November 10th.
Minutes of two October meet-
ings were read and approved on
motion of. Haines and McCutcheon.
Preliminary plans for an addit-
ion to Brussels School, supplied
by architect Donald Snyder, were
studied and discussed.
Motion by Stewart and Elliott
that bills presented be paid except

Morris k. Grey Recreational
Committee, to raise funds to pay
off the balance of the arena debt.
The. Recreational Committee
have raised and paid off $25.000
to date through grants, donations
of labour. and the generous con-
tributions of m oney that the
-people of the area so kindly
made,
The unpaid balance now stands
at $2,500.00.

ed early in December.

rail service on this line has been
concluded and representatives

The Women's Guild met on
November. 16th in the church
parlour with 1$ member's pre-

Jean Ireland took charge of the
meeting and read an OP.e4ing

was sung and Matthew 25':31-46
Was read in Unison. This scripture
portion is the one in which Jesus
Says, "Insomuch as ye have done
it unto the least of these my
brethern, ye have done it unto
me,"
Isabel Adams led in prayer
which was followed by the topic,
ably presented by jean Ireland.
The church's work in city ten-
ement areas was ((ascribed under'
the heading "The Inner City."
After the Mizpa.h benediction,
the vice-president, Jean Stiles
took charge of the business
portion. Reports were given and
the next meeting changed to Dec-
ember 7th. All groups are to com-
bine for this program io present
numbers and bring refreehmente.
Jessie Little took charge of two
humorous contests which were
followed by a delicious lunch
served by Jean. Isabel and Jessie,

church on Sunday, owing to the
illness of the minister, Rev.
Charles A. Winn.
Mr.• and Mrs. Jack Knight and
Mr. and Mrs. Doug Evans visited
over the week-end with Mr. and
Mrs. E. G. Nelson and family at
Moose Creek, Ont.
Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Smith, of
Toronto, visited with Mr.. and Mrs.
Prank Smith. All were in Detroit
on Sunday, also Shirley and Doug.
Murray Refines. Swift Current,
Sask., is spending several days
with his uncle and aunt, Frank
and Mrs. Smith.

for of the Ontario Tuberculosis
Association, was the guest
speaker at a combined Huron-
Perth Tuberculosis Association
meeting in Clinton Tuesday Oven -
g.
Mr. Kelly pointed out that
670 people died of TB in Can-
ada, in 1964. We, as Tuberculos-
is Associations, ;shcfuld person-
ally tell as many people as we
can about tuberculosiS --- a dis-
ease with the cause known since
1900, and 65 years later is still
not eradicated. Every 15 seconds
some one died of TB and it is still
the greatest menace- to public
health, he said.

Huron Association, presided at
the meeting.'Ralph Goren, presi-
den of the Perth Association, in-
troduced the speaker, Mr. Kelly
was thanked by Dr. J. G. Ross,
of Coderich, an honorary vice-
president of the Ontario Assoc -
fattier/.
