Mrs. Rose Ste. Marie, 8n, of
Goderieh, formerly of the 6th line
of Morris Township, died Sunday
in Hanover Hospital,
The former Rose Irene Weber,
she was the Widow Of the late
Peter Ste Marie.
Sire is surveyed by one son,

ers, Mrs. L. 3, (Irene) Brohman,
Guelph; 'Mrs. Hugel (Selma)
Burnett, Elnevale; Mrs. Lorne
(Laura) Arthurs, Harriston;
Mrs. Gordon (Helen) Blake,
Brussels; Mrs, C, V. (Joan) Wal-
den, Goderich; 11 grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren,

where prayers 'were offered at
9 p.m. Tuesday. Requiem Mass
was said at 9:30 a.m. Wednes-
day at St. Ambrose R, C. Church,
Brussels.
Burial was in Mildmay R. C.
cemtery.
. MISS ANNIE E. DOWNING
Miss Annie Elizabeth Downing
of Brussels, died in Wingham.
,and District Hospital on Friday.
She was in her 85th year.
Da,ugnuer of the late Mr. and
Mrs. John. Downing, she was born
in Goderich. She was a resident
of Brussele for the past 65 years.
She 'was a member of the Brus-
ses United Church and took an
active part in the women's
organizations.
She is survived by one sister,
Mass Hattie Downing of Brussels;
two nieces, Mrs. Kenneth (Mar-
garet) Tyerman, Brussels; and.
Mrs. Helen Carson, Calgary.
The funeral service was held
from the D, A. Rann funeral
home at 2 p.m. on Monday, The
Rev. Allan Johnston, minister of
Brussels iUnited Church officiated.
Burial was in. Brussels ceme
tery.

sels died Sunday in Wingham and
District Hospital, in his 82 nd
year.
A son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Wilson Evans of Grey Township,
he fainted there until he retired
about 15 years age
He is survived by his 'wife, the
former Margaret Clarke; two bro.
