To Hold Annual Meeting.
Dr. Neville Lefcoe, of Lon-
don, will address the annual
dinner meeting, of the littrol
County Tuberculosis. Associa-
tion in. Seaforth on Monday.
His subject will be, "Research
in Lung Disease Today."
Dr. Lefcoe is a medical doc-
tor from Vanderbilt University,
Nashville, Tennesee, and re-
ceived his Fellow Royal Col-
lege of Physicians in 1956. He
has had extensive post-graclu-
ate study and experience in
the United States and Canada.
At ;the present tin-re, Dr.
Lefcoe is Associate Professor of
Medicine, University of West-
ern Ontario. His interests are
largely concerned with teach-
ing of Pulmonary disease at
the Medical School, managing
the lung function laboratory at
'Victoria Hospital, and various
research problems, including
the distribution of bronchial
disease in different occupation
groups in London, with regard
to dust exposure in the various
occupations, and the effect of
exercise and body conditioning
on lung function it normal
people, and in people with
various diseases.

Brian Prescott, a son of Mr.
and Mrs. Thomas Prescott, will
graduate on Saturday from the
University of Waterloo with a
Bachelor of Arts degree. He join-
ed the Ministry of Fisheries, !mat-
ed near Ottawa, in April.
Bruce Hayden, a son of Mr.
and Mre. Fred Hayden, graduat-
ed on Friday with a Bachelor et
Agriculture Science degree from.
the Ontario Agricultural College.
University of Guelph.
David Kennedy B. A., son of Mr .
and Mrs. R. W. Kennedy, Brus-
sels, has successfully completed
his first year of post graduate
studies at the University of Tor-
onto. He will receive his B.S.W.

Guides Entertain 'Mothers
At Closing Meeting
The last Girl Guide meeting
was held on Tuesday, May 15th
The patrols were formed and
the captains welcomed the
mothers to the Gal& meeting.
Attendance was taken with
only two Guides absent. The
fluides formed the horse-

eldward Wilton Bryens, 86,
died May 19th, in Scott Memor-
ial Hospital, Seaforth.

;-,0s, the son or tie. late William
Bryaes and Ellen Francis. He
was the eldest son in a family
of ten.
At an early age ne moved
with his parents to Howick
Township and then North of
Brussels. As a young man he
worked on his father's Mien With,
the exception of two years -in
Western Canada,
.FIe married the former Helen
Jane Smith at Brussels in Dec-
ember. 1909. Mr. and Mrs. .Bryaes

,Township until they. moved to.
Brussels •in November, 1003.

to 1940 and was an elder

years.
Mr, Bryans is eurvived by his
wife, three sons, Harey, Lon-
don; .Stuart; Mitch all and Jack,

Brussels.; Charles, Whitby; Rob-
ert. St.. Peterbtirg, Irla.• and Frank
of Hamilton.' There are five
grangrandchi ldreu. •
The funeral was held from the
D. A. Bann funeral nome in.
Brussels on May 21st., with the
