Annual Meeting
The third annual meeting of the
Huron Presbyterial, United
Church of Canada was held
Wednesday in Northside United
Church, with Egrnondville United
Church as co-hostess.
The president, Mrs. Alien Mc-
Taggart of RR 2, Brussels, pre-
sided. The opening worship ser-
vice was conducted by Mrs. S.
Bride, Fordwich, and Mrs. Harold
Phillips, myth, using the theme,
"The Influence of Christian
Values."
Greetings and welcome were
extended by Mrs. Gordon Mc-
,Kenzie, RR 5, Seaforth, president,
of the UCW of_Nnrtnside Church,
and, by Mrs. Emerson Coleman,.
RR 3, Seaforth, president of the.
Figniondville group.
Mrs. McTaggart announced that
the allocation for 1905 for the uni-
., fled budget was proposed as
$29,650, and that the expense fund,
as, $420. Both these proposals were
adopted. The 1964 allocation was
exceeded by $1,904 or 63 per
cent.
The unpaid balance on West-
minster College was given as
$1,676.6.2. Middlesex Presbytery
was the largest contributor with
Huron placing second. The Hur-
on Presbytery also showed an
increase of over $2,000 for' the
Unified budget.
The secretary's report was
given by Mrs. H. Talmay, RR 1,
Port Albert; the treasurer's re-
port, by Mrs. Brock Olde, Clinton;
finance, by Mrs. George Michie,
RR 4, Brussels (as prepared by
Mrs. Ted Mccreath, RR 5, Clin-
ton; the Westminster College re-
port by Mrs. A. Mctaggart (as
prepared by Mrs. Orville Har-

William C. Harrison, 77, died
at hij home, lot 1Z, con. 16, Grey
Township, on Monday, March 22,
lie was a lifelong resident of the
township. Born Oct. 6, 1887, he
was a son of the late Mr. and
Airs. Marshall Harrison. On July
6, 1910, he married Ada Cole, at
Mitchell, and they farmed in Grey
Township all their married life.
Mr. Harrison Was a member of
Moncrier tInited Church; of
Golden Rule Lodge No. 420,
