FAREWELL. TO AUTUMN
The. Aetutun's blipping by.
And winter's coming on;
The geese are in the sky;
The little birds are gone.
The squirrel is busy now
Filling his winter store.
What nature does endow
.lie gathers, as of .yore..
The trees have shed their leaves,
The grass is getting pale,
The smoke is blown ie wreathes,
Before the saucy gale.
The air is cool and cleat,
The breeze begins to bite,
When winter breathes so near,
Autumn takes to flight.
