in marriage on Saturday, Julsi
25th, at the manse in Listowel.
Rev. Lloyd Stapleton of List-
uwel officiated.
The bride chose a white, full
skirt, dress of taffeta with long
nylon sleeves. Pearl encrusted
lace trimmed the skirt and neck-
Una.
She wore a strand of crystal
cut, beads andmatching ear-
rings, the gift of the groom.
Her shOlrlder length veil was
trimmed with pearls, She carried,
a white bible with red Sweetheart
roses.
Mrs. Gerald McKnight of
Listowel was bridema,id dressed
in a Short yellow nylon dress,
with a full length sash at the
back. She wore a corsage of
yellow and white mums.

owel ',was groomsman..
A reception was held at the
home of the groom's uncle, &nest
Atarah, of Listowel, about thirty
guests were present from
Toronto, London, Listovsel, Be:'
Atweeil, and Milvert0h,
Streamers of yellow, blue and
pink were used as decorations.
Mrs. Jacklin was dressed in a
blue rayon brocade floral dress
with Vase accessories and a
corsage of. orchids. The groom's
mother wore a green floral dress
with matching jacket, green,
accessories and orchid corsage.
The young couple will reside in
Listowel for the present and
later will move to Kitchener or,
Stratford.

Allister Bird of Grey Township
passed away in Listowel Mem-
orial Hospital, on July 28th, 1864.
in his 57th year.
He was the son of the late
James Bird and Mary Edith
He leaves to mourn his loss his
wife, the former Mary Nichol
and two sons, Gregory and. John.

'The body rested at the D. A.
Rawl funeral home where a
private service was held, then
taken to St. Johns Anglican
Church where Mr. Bird had serv-
ed as a warden for a number of
years. Services were held there
at two o'clock with the Rev. H.
L. Jennings officiating.
Pallbearers were CMOs
Fischer, Don Cotton, John Perrie,
Clem Steffler, Glenn Huether,
and. Stan Fischer,
John Hunter and. Stuart Smith
were flower bearers.
Interment was in Brussels

Brussels 411-1 Calf Club 'was held
August 5th on the farm of Mr.
Siege Hiemstra,, riot 28, con.11,
Grey TownshiP. The meeting was
opened by the 4-H Pledge. The
minutes of the last meeting were
read. L
A class of mature milking
Holsteins was judged.
Charles Bray demonstrated the
correct way to clip a calf.
Some tips on showmanship
were discussed.

The death of GeOrgc Vundas
occurred 'Wednesday morning at
his home in Walton. He was in.
his 8:ith year.

of the area, having been born in,
McKillOp, the son Ca one late':
John Dundas and Charlotte
,Willis, he received his education
there and farmed in that, Town-
ship until " his retirement to
Walton 17 years ago.
He is survived by his wife,
the former Ifreila, Jane Johnston,
to whom he was married 57 years
ago, and by ono son, Prank, of
Toronto, and three daughters..
Ida, Mrs. David AndreWs, and,
Agnes, Mrs, Neale Reid, both of
Toronto, and Evelyn, Mrs. Robert
Pickering of Oakville; also 11
;grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.
He was a member of Duff's
United •O lurch, Walton.
Funeral services will be held.
