The Hon. Minister of Trans-
port Irwin Haskett, introduced an
Act to amend the Motor Vehicle
Accident Claims Act. The sect-
ions in the Act include parts•
that increase the penalties for
offences involving false evidence
of insurance and requiring those,
convicted of failing to produce
evidence of insurance or proof of
having paid the uninsured motor
vehicle fee, to pay such a fee.
