with all members present.
It was decided that Russel and
Nelson Marks he paid $2.50 a day

dice's children to school and
James Clark be paid $800 a year
for his caretaking duties .during

The Chcristmas meeting of the
Cranbrook Evening Auxiliary was
held at the manse with 15 memo,
rrs present. The meeting was
opened by the leader, Betty
Knight. A hymn was sung and
!the scripture was read in unison.
The meditation "No room. in the
Inn" was read by the leader, The
meeting was then turned over to
the PregiOent•
The secretary's report was
read and approve4 .followed by
the roll call which was answered
with a Christmas verse. The
following reports for the year
were read: Treasurer, C.O.C,
Library, Literature, Welcome and
.Wellfare. The colleetion was
taken amounting to $9.05 general
and 1.46 for tea. NOmipated by
Isabel Huether seconded by Dorio
McDonald that Joyce"Cameron
fill the position of treasurer.
Carried. Yvonne Knight moved
the nominations closed.
It was decided, this year to haVe
an executive meeting to make
plans for the new year. Anyone
any suggestions, give
them to an executive member or
come to the meeting,
This year attendance will be
stressed. Moved by Marilyn Eng-
el, seconded by Jean Evans, that
the group be divided into two
teams. At the end of the year the
losing team provmes some kind.

Evening Auxiliary members'
names were divided into four
;groups to prepare articles for the
1954 bazaar. The WMS members
were also included in the differ-
ent groups. The four leaders

Cameron, Mrs. Glen Huether and
Mrs. Doug Evans.

Being a By-Law under Section
456 of the. Municipal Act, R.S.O.,
1960, Chanter 249, to close cer-
tain parts of Walnut and Cypress
Streets in the Village of Brussels
and convey the lands so closed
and stopped up to Topnotch
Feeds. Limited and to Gordon
Workman or his nominess,
TAKE NOTICE that the Muni-
cipal Clorporation of the Village
of Brussels, deem it advisable 'to
close parts of Walnut and Cyp-
ress Streets in the Village of
Brussels, and to convey the said
parts to Topnotch Feeds Limited
and to Gordon A. Workman or his
nominees, as the said portions are
not serving any useful purpose in
their present condition and bocat-
ion, and are not being used for
public purposes.
AND THEREFORE TAKEI
NOTICE that the proposed By-
Law reads as. follows:
