Brussels Council
The Village Council met on'
October 7th, 1963 in the Muni-
icipal Office as a Court of Be-
ngston. The County. Assessor,
;Mr. Alex Alexander, and the
'local Assessor, Mr. C, J Cardiff
were present. Alter the declar-
ation of paths were heard J. Ch
'Kreuter, the Reeve, acted as
lehairman.

Mr. Jas. McNeil and after dtte

The Council adjourned as a '
Court on motions of 0. S.

Two 'Grass Fires Calls
The Brussels firemen re-
sponded to two fire calls in a
week. The first was a grass fire
at Wm. Stratychult's, end the
Second on Wednesday at thee.

where a. smouldering under-
ground fire thad broken through
to the surface burning off several
acres. Firemen were called to
