Third Meeting
The third meeting of the
Cranbrook qustardettes was bold
on ,September 25th, 1953, at 7.15
at the home of Mrs. Knight,
The meeting was opened with
the 1;H pledge followed by the)
minutes which Jo-Anne read.
It was decided to wait until a
later date to discuss the skit for
achievement day.
The Roll gall was answered:
by six members. }tome Assign-
ments were discussed.
The next meeting will be held{
ob. Wed. Oct. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at

Demonstrations:
1. All the girls helped make a
junket

A more influential role for
women was urged when Zone 2
Federation of Agriculture met
recently for the women's an-
nual meeting in Carlingford.
Officers elected were: Press:

Mrs. Hugh McIntyre, RR 1,
ElmwoOd; vice-president and
Mrs. Donald Wallace, RR 2, St.
Pauls, secretary-treasurer for a
two-year term.
Mrs. Leonard Taylor, RR 1,
Fergus, in addressing the meet-
ing, said: "I have not been as
active in the organization dur-
ing the past year due to circum-
stances beyond my control, hut
my interest was just as intense.
Time brings changes and we
must adjust, and new people
Must be brought in to offiCe
to inject new ideas to consider
with the advances that are con-
stantly taking place, I have en-
joyed my years of association
with you; the ladies of Huron,
Grey, Bilice, Perth, Waterloo
and Wellington. I have made
many friends and yeti will al-
ways have a warm place in my
