We lest our arena last winter-
from a heavy load of snow end
we are. new planning to erect a
IOW one,
The Beigrave arena, was the
'oral point Of our community with
many activities for the young
maple as well as supplying, a
pike for the Delgrave School
Fair, the itagest SchOol Fair of
its kind. Marty family reunions are
held there each year as well as
the nnoual. 'turkey supper' Where
over 300 neople meet each fall.
There were more than 75
children playing in organized
hockey last winter and many,
many More children enjoyed
skating. Teenagers and adults
enjoyed playing broomball
throughout the the winter.
As you can understand the need
or an arena is an urgent one
and we sincerely thank you for
your part in our -.:ommunIty

Brussels 4-11 Beef Calf Club was,
held at the home of Jim Smith
on Wednesday, 1/1,ay 22. Eleven
,members were present. Atter
repeating the 4-H pledge the
meeting was turned over to Mel
Chamberlaill, summer assistant
Agricultural Representative for
Huron, Mr, Chamberlain showed.
a film on judging beef cattle.
Following this he gave a lesSon
on care and, mangement of the
MI calf and a quit on the parts
of the beef animal.
