her honor, last Thursday evening, at
the home of Mrs, Gordon Blake, who

During the course of the eventng

contests including an imaginary
account of the coming wedding for a
local paper. Mrs. Gorden .Blake
gave a. humorous reading and a
it-Melee] skit was acted by Mrs.
Cudmore, Mrs. Shurrie and Mrs.
D. Hemingway. Mrs. Lloyd Cooper
read the address and the bride-elect
was presented with many lovely
gifts, including a set of china. The
gifts were Presented to her by some
of the Junior guests present.
Betty fittingly thanked everyone
and expressed her delight in spend-
ing an evening with old acquaint-
ances.
Refreshments were served and the
