55th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
On Tuesday afternoon and evening
of last week Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Pollard received friends, relatives
and neighbors, who showered them
With good wishes on their 55th
anniversary, Baskets of gladioli and
other summer flowers, cards of good
wishes, and gifts surrounded the
celebrants. Their three daughters,
Mrs. Leslie (Esther) Braddick, Van-
couver, B.C.,: Mrs. Chester (Magaret)
Rintoul, -Galt, and Mrs. Mervyn
(Freida) Pipe, Morris Township,
were with their parents for the
occasion. Their son-in-law., Leslie
Braddick, was also present, and a
niece, Mrs. Llewelyn ,Tohns of
Leaside. Carolyn Johns opened the
door for the. callers who were ser-
ved tea by the daughters assisted
Mrs. Johns, Mrs. Melvin. Thompson,
rs. Archie'Engel and
Pollard of Kincardine. Mr. and Mrs.
Pollard are in good health and thor-
oughly enjoyed the reception. Both
