the son of the late Mr, and Mrs,.

brook and Brtissels.
Mr; Sparling was a prominent
St, Marys businessman. He operated
a grocery store there from 1934 to 1
1958. Since that time he has farmed
while residing on Emily street, lie
is 'a Past 'Master of St. Johns

of St. Marys Public School: Board for
many years; also on the town
council . and the Public Utilities
Commission from 1953 to 1950.-
Ere is survived, by his widow, the
former Mildred Logan, of Brussels;
