A lettef read by the secretary,
Norman Hoover, announced that the
Banner Counties Ayrshire Cilub will
bold its Red and White show at the
1961 Brussels Fair. In his financial
'report Mr. Hoover reported that
total -receipts were $8,885,45; total
expenditures, $8,889.03. An over-
draft in the bank and a note for
$500 detracts from the cheerfulness
of the financial picture, but over
$3,000 worth of improvements were
made to the agricultural park tied
buildings during the year.
Dr. James Anderson, retired
veterinary surgeon with 50 years of
service, and Mrs, Ida Davis, a long-
time member of the women directors,
were each presented with a certifi-
cate of merit, given to persons who
'have made otttstankling contri-
bution. to the life of their comm-
unity. Norman. Hoover spoke briefly
explaining the awards; and James
:Mir presented them.
