FEDERATION OF AGRICULTURE
The annual meeting of Morris
TOwnship Federation of Agriculture
was held last Thursday. evening in
the Foresters Hall, Belgrave, com-
mencing with a dinner prepared by
members of Trinity Church Guild.
The president, Ross Smith, called
the meeting to order; and grace
was said by Earl Anderson.
Following the dinner, the president
introduced those at the head table
and gave a short •address, stating
that last year new concession signs
had been placed by the Federation
named beet actress and best actor.
The North Huron group were pre-
sented with the Morton Keys Drama
Trophy.
'Members of the cast were: Jim.
Bowman, Ruth Procter, Sheila
Black, Bessie Johnston and Harry
Brydges, The production was

William John Vivian, 29, formerly.
of Logan township, died suddenly
at his home. lot 29 and 30, con. 7,
Grey township, Monday morning.
He was born in Logan township.
March 2nd, 1931, and was a sou of
Mrs. Charlotte: Vivian, of Logan,
and the lat e John Vivian, He was
an adherent of Main St, United
Church,
Ile is survived by his mother, one '
brother, Keith, Logan township; two
sisters, Mrs. Herbert Beierling)
Zurich, and Mrs. John Sebben, R.
R. 4, Stratford.
The remains, rested at the Lock-
hart funeral home. Mitchell, where
a private funeral service was held
at 2 pan. Rev. Hugh Hunter of Main
Street United -Church officiated.
Temporary entombment took
place in Woodlawn mausoleum, with
burial later in woodlawn cemetery,
Mrs. George Campbell
Mrs, George A, -Campbell, 64, of
Goderich, died in Victoria Hospital,
London, last Thursday morning.
Tine former Flossie. May Saunders,
she was born at Ethel, Out.,
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs,
William Saunders, A resident of
•Gcderich for the past eight years,
she was a member of Victoria,
Street United Church.
She had been a resident of Brus-
sels for a number of years.
Besides her husband, she is stir-ii
vived by one son, Stewart, of Cod- ,
erieh; four daughters, Mrs, John I,
(Margaret) Toth, Listowel; . Mrs.,
Ronald (Florence) noimago, Sea-
forth; Mrs, Herbert (Ina) Stassen, 1
Goderich- one sister, Mrs, James 1
Clinton; Miss Helen Campbell,
Gederieli; one sister, MrS, Tames..
Spivey, Blyth; 21 grandchildren,
and 15 granohtldren.
The body rested at the Lodge
funeral home, where a service was
conducted on Saturday at a p.m.
condaoted by Rev. 5, A. MoOte of
'Victoria Street Church.
Burial was made in Mount
Pleasant cemetery, Ethel.
