I produce hogs, eggs and beef, 1 all in a small way. I buy feed. 1,, Since I am a small produder, I lik to pick up feed 'at the mill in small lots in order to have it fresh. A mitt operator quoted me a Price 1 of $52. a tan for bog grower Which I would pick up at the mill door 1 in 1,Lton lots. If I were a large 1 operator the same mill would ideliver a 'seven ton load, in bags to my farm for $60 per ton. This milli operator admitted that he had considerably less profit per ton in the large lot than ha the small Tot, Yet, because of the better bar- gaining position of the larger producer he was forced into this practice. I ISo much for the buying. Now let is look at marketing. If I sell one hog through the hog producers IgairketIng Agency I will receive exactly the same price per Chet. 1 Ias the producer who eellg 100 or a 1000.
