San. 22. 1931, a, eon of Mr. and Nrs.
Roy Hall. He attended S. Sf. 6, Grey
township and for the past few years
worked' on his father's farm, He was
a member of Ethel. United Church
and sang in Ethel Male Quartette,
Surviving beside his parents is one
brothel' Elwin Hall, principal of
Atwood 'Plublic School.
The entire community was shock-
ed and Saddened by the sudden.
tragic health of this popular young
man, who will be greatly missed by
his many friends,

Brussels Defeats Bluevale
The Brussels Men's Softball team
endedup on top. of a 11-13 'victory
over Bluefrale in Vicoria Park here
on 'Thursday, June 16. The Brussels
club took an early lead and until the
8th. inning the score read 17-4. Then
,Bluevale fought right down to the
wire and were successful in searing
nine more runs in the .first of the 9th
This is the second time the home
steam has defeated Bluevale.
The battery for Brussels was Louie
"Spider" Ebel, pitcher and Carson
Watson, catcher. .

per of letters from former resident:,

ipating a visit to the Town. Plot of
Grey on July 3 and 4, others .ex(
pressing regret at not being able
to attend, but sending hest wishes
for a. successful Centennial.
Beginning at 12 p. m. on July 4,
there will be a parade of floats,
bons and girls decorated blondes,
Children's pets, . Clowns and many,
other comical attractions,' There
will be a program in the afternoon
when Wiss 1855 will be chosen. Also I
the oldest married couple in attmsad•
anee and the youngest pension Present
will be chosen. There will be a prize
for the largest family on the grounds
and one for the most recently mar-
ried couple.

gus and Brussels ladies, folloWed
by Bingo, games and a Concert in
the •Clommannty Centre, The Pau'
Bros. are presenting entirely new ;

Meeting opened with prayers for
missionaries at home and abroad,
and the W. A. members prayer In un-
