Reeve Williamson said "We have this
petition that's concerned about ground-
water and the way it disappears in a
particular area.
"Where does the fecal material that shows -
u pin our wells come from?" one man wanted
to know.
"It certainly doesn't come from earthen
tanks in this township," Dr. Robinson said.
"In my experience, drilled wells that are
_cased fifty feet down, if there is fecal
contamination, that is a very unusual
situation. There .are lots of ways to transmit
contamination to drinking water and some
people who spread manure too heavily might
be contributing.
John Perrie asked if the two gentlemen.
knew what ty. ;pe of drainage they had in Grey
Township and proceeded to show them some
pictures taken of different sinkholes on the
Brewer and Berfeltz drains. One of the
sinkholes was large enough for a male adult
to crawl into.
"You spoke of soil test and permeability.
Should you overlook sinkholes.?"
Professor Robinson said he had never seen
a soil condition like it before but said that was
one of the reasons they would like a soil
expert to do some .testing.

Al2 — THE BRUSSELS POST, SEPTEMBER 2, 198'0
25 in Memoriam Area wedding SHOLDICE: In loving
memory of a dear father, and
grandfather Watson
Sholdice, who passed away
September 7, 1979.
Dad, our heart's been
aching,
Since you left two years ago,
We love you and we miss you
More than you will ever know
It's nice to know however,
That you're where you want
to be,
Along beside my mother
Who was very dear to me,
She left us very suddenly,
You found it hard to part,
You tried your best to go on
alone,
But we know it broke your
heart.
We know you will be happy
now,
And that helps soothe our
pain
You only spent 6 months
apart.
Now you're together again
