Sixteen teams took part: Belmore, Bluevale, Diesel Car Diner, Moles- worth, Gorrie,Lakelet, For- mosa, Clifford, Teeswater, Brussels, Walkterton, Harri- ston, Wingham and Drew. The "A" Championship trophy, donated by NU-look Autobody, a division of Tol- Stockyard The market at Brussels Stockyards traded steady on cattle with feeder pigs selling higher. There were 568 cattle and 1505 pigs on offer. TWO STEERS consigned by L & B Farms of Wallenstein averaging 1260 lbs. sold for 82.75 with their lot of 28 steers averaging 1211 lbs. selling for 81.20. Their load of 12 holstein hereford cross- breds averaging 1191 lbs. sold for 79.35. TWO STEERS consigned by Ross Durnin of Lucknow averaging 1270 lbs. sold for 81.85 with his 22 steers averaging 1228 lbs. selling for 80.40. A STEER consigned by Steve Durnin of Lucknow weighing 1370 lbs. sold for 81.50. SIXTEEN STEERS consigned by Keith McLean of Brussels averaging 1112 lbs. sold for 80.30. NINE STEERS consigned by Fraser Mustard of Bluevale averaging 1114 lbs. sold for 79.30. The "B" Cha 4npionship trophy donated by Gillies Building Supply of Gorrie, was won by Lakelet when they defeated Belmore 20-3. The trophy was presented to the team captain. Dale Cober, by Jim Dickson. Bruce Boneschansker of R.R. 1 Ethel was the winner of the 50-50 draw held in conjunction with the tourna- ment. The winning number was drawn by Dale Cober after the "B" Championship game. Mrs. Cecil Grainger spent a week visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ian Howes of Peterborough. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Brooks and Bertha of Court- enay, B.C. spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. A. Congratuations to Pamela Wilson, Gorrie, who passed with First Class Honours the Preliminary Rudiments Theory Examination of the Royal Conservatory of Music held in myth in May. She will now receive her Grade V Pianoforte Certificate. She also passed with Honours her Grade VI Pianoforte, held in Blyth in June. She is the daughter of Mrs. William.
