Many bands, cars and other attractions have been booked for the parade including the only steam powered calliope in Canada. Edgar, Mrs. Bill Nay and Miss Margaret Dane were in charge of the devo- tional period with "Mothers" as the theme. Mrs. George Brown, Pres. conducted the business. Mrs. Ivan Haskins read the minutes and Mrs. J. Sim- mons gave the treasurer's report. Plans were made for visits to the Fordwich Nurs- ing Home, Midwestern Re- gional Centre, the Garden Party on June 9 and the Spring Bale. Mrs. Bill Nay auctioned the plant and bake sale items. The sale was quite successful.
