THE BRUSSELS BANTAMS—Brussels Bantams finished off their
season on Saturday night winding up as runners up in the all Ontario
championship. The Bantams this year were winners of the O.M.H.A.
Bantam D.D. Championship and the W.O.A.A. Bantam D.D.

The 7 p.m. game time was
delayed when referees' sent
in by the O.M.H.A. did not
arrive. An hour and a half
later the game got underway
when two referees from Clin-
ton filled in.
Godfrey scored the first
goal at 1:35 of the first
period. Brussels was score-
less until 1:14 of the second
period when they tied the
score. They added another
four minutes later to take the
lead at 2-1. Godfrey then tied
the score at the 8:32 mark.
Brussels then scored at 11:35
to end the second period with
a 3-2 lead.
Godfrey scored at 3:36 of
the third period to tie the
Howick Ban
The Howick Bantams
won the "D" division of the
Harriston tournament.
On the way to victory
Howick defeated Tiverton 6-0
and Plattsville 2-0 in what
proved to be very exciting
hockey action.
In the championship match
against Lefroy, Howick play-
ed steady hockey and defeat-
ed the opposition 8-6.
The first marker was
scored by Kevin Hallahan of
Howick, with the assist going
to Kevin Armstrong. Hall-
man got a hat trick, scoring
again during the second
period and managing an
empty net goal during thi•
third'. '
