Brussels Friendship Club
met in the Legion hall,
March 18 with a good atten-
dance. President Frank Hoo-
per presided, Verna,Thomas
was at the piano. A number
of beautiful pictures taken'at
Pinery Provincial park all
year round were shown.
This park is available to
senior citizens free of charge
for camping over night or
longer. It's a lovely spot in its
natural state with trees,
shrubbery, flowers and an-
imals, a beautiful spot to
relax.
Ed Martin thanked the
conservationist and present-
ed him with a gift.
An invitation was read to
attend Bellmore syrup festi-
val on ,April 9. Laura Lucas
gave' the treasurer's report,

Mulholland of Mitchell were married in a double ring
ceremony at Duff's United Church on March 7. Rev. C.
Swan officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her
father. Maid of honour was Ellen' SteWart of London. The
bridesmaids were Jan Benoit of Appin, Darlene Williams
of Aurora and Susan Lane of Calgary. The groomsman was
Paul Hulley of Seaforth, and the ushers were Pat
Devereaux of Seaforth,:. Murray Houston, brother of the
bride, of Brussels and:Barry Lane of Calgary. Organist was
Audre McLlwain. and the soloist was Dena Wey.
