Mr. Jas. Alcorn underwent
surgery at Victoria hospital
in London to have a pace
maker inplanted.
Mr. and Mrs. Ian Howes,
Marcie, Mandy and Lana
visited over the weekend
with Mrs. Cecil Grainger and
with Mr. Grainger who is in
Listowel Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Bruce Grainger of Mon-
treal also visited.
Mr. Harold Robinson, Mr.
Wesley Ball and Mr. Jack
Stafford attended the Rural
Municipalities Convention of
Ontario in Toronto.
Mrs. Jas. Alcorn spent a
few days at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Douglas Alcorn in
London.
Bryan Peter of Seaforth
was the February 3rd winner
in the 50-50 draw sponsored
by the Gorrie Ball Associa-
tion. There will be two more
draws, on March 3 and one
April 1.
Proceeds are for renova-
tions at the Gorrie Ball Park.
Mr. and Mrs. William A.
Smith spent a few days at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie
Fleming of Neustadt,

guson visited Sunday with

Christian school
meeting planned
The newly formed
Wingham and District
Christian High School Socie-
ty will hold a general inform-
ation and business meeting
in the Wingham Bible Chap-
el on Friday, February 27, at
8:00 p.m.
An election of board mem-
bers will take place and a
constitution will be present-
ed for discussion and adopt-
ion.
This meeting is open to the
public.

serving lunch brought up-to-
date, also the church clean-
ing list. The ladies have
accepted a quilt to do.
