She asked questions from 1 Peter, and said Sarnia will host Synodical in 1981. Mrs. Stuart-Stevenson, Mrs. Earl Dunn and Mrs. Fischer arc the committee chosen for catering for a picnic group late in June. Devotions were in charge of Mrs.- Stewart Steiss, using the theme "Mothers, Family and Love". A reading "Mother's Day" was given by Mrs.. •,lack Knight. Roll call was a 'verse on •ther". e guest speaker, Mrs. Oiadys Ellsmore was intro- duced by Mrs. George Smith and she gave a talk "Love overcomes all'', based on the book of Ruth, She was thank- ed and given a gift of appreciation from the group. Mrs. John. Perrie Sr, and. Mrs. Steiss assisted the' hostess in serving lunch.-1 Mrs. Earl Dunn conducted a brief meeting of the Ladies Aid-when June 7 was set for, the garage sale and -a committee appointed to plan for it. Watch for further particulars later. PERSONALS Mrs. Patrick Adams and little daughter, Manotiek, visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clare Veitch this past week. Mr. and Mrs. Allan McTaggart, Godcrich attended the Centennial celebrations in Listowel on the weekend and also visited with their son-in-law and daughter, Leslie and Mrs. Knight and family. Don Cotton was able to conic home from Strafford Hospital on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Dunn, Bonnie and Tony, West Montrose, Mrs. Don Jacklin, St. Clements, Mrs. Bill Muchan, London. and Stan Machan, ListoWcl visited Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunn, on the weekend. The Playford family of Thorald visited Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mitchell.
