mothers held their monthly
meeting on, April 16 at the
Library„ with 12 members
pyesent. Discussed were the •
final µ plans tor ::the ,
Dance on April 25 at Cran-
brook Community Centre.
The mothers also made plans
to take the chidlren on a hike
in May and to send the
second half of the payment to
the Foster Child Plan. The
trip to Ontario Place for. the
Brownies and Guides was ,
discussed. , • •
Cookie Day is on May 3
and it is hoped everyone will
be helpful. The meeting was
adjourned and coffee served.

gold diamond wedding and
engagement rings found
near the right hand of the
victim, were traced through
the . co-operation of Leroy'. s
Jewellery Stores Limited
located in. Michigan.
The names of purchasers
of 28 sets of these rings sold /
in the Great Lakes States
area were checked with the
• assistance of police forces
from those states. As, a
result, the Michigan State
Police traced the rings io the
victim. -
Positive identification has
been made by comparison of
dental charts of the victim by
Dr. G.P. Wysocki of the
University of Western
Ontario in London.
The victim has been
identified as Kimberly Jean
Woodward, age 24 years,' ot,
Carrollton, Michigan.
investigation is continuing
in both Michigan and
Ontario.
