evening at the community
hall. Prize winners were for
high' lady-Mrs. Harold
Bolger, low lady-Mrs.
Gordon Murray. High man
Cliff Hoegy with 94 points
was at the head table all
evening, low man-Ernie
Stevens. Lucky tally cards for
ladies Mrs. Mel Jacklin, for
men-Lawrence Ryan. Lucky
cup-Ernie Stevens. Institute
hostesses were Mrs.
Ray Huether; Mrs. Allan
McCall, Mrs. Ken McDonald
and Mrs. Ernie Stevens.
There will be another
euchre on March 18. Every-
one is welcome . Lunch is
provided, with good prizes.
PERSONALS
Mr. and Mrs. Russel
Bielby of Kelfield, Sask.
have been visiting with Mr.
and Mrs. Emerson Mitchell
and family for the past few
weeks. On Monday they took
them to Barrie and Cooks-
town where they will visit
relatives before returning
home., While here they visit-
ed Mrs. Bessie. Mitchell at
Huronview Clinton and Mrs.
Lillian Beer of Hensall before
she left for a vacation in
Florida, also other relatives
in the community.
On Sunday the Mitchells
entertained about 25
relatives visiting with the
Beilby's prior to them return-
ing to their home in. Sask.
Mr. and Mrs, Doug Kirkby.
spent a week holidaying in
Florida.
The young people from
this area who are part of the
ski club from Seaforth High
School went by bus to the
Talisman Ski Resort for three
days recently included Pam,
Patricia and Dean Hackwell;
John and Steven Huether;
Joanne Knight, Jim
McDonald, Scott Robinson,
Cathy and Brian McGavin
and i ne of the Boettcher
boys.
.The ladies in the village
are quilting another quilt this
week at the home of. Mrs.
Viola Kirkby. Word was
received by Phyllis Mitchell
from Helen Henderson,
Edmonton thanking the
ladies for the lovely job of
quilting the quilt for her that
was raffled off as a spring
