meeting will supply
suggestions, ideas, and
support for the Hall Board.
DAY OF PRAYER
The World Day of Prayer
was observed on . Friday
afternoon in the church base-
ment.Mrs. Clare Veitch was
leader for the special service
on "Responsible Freedom"
prepared by the Christian
women of Thailand "Take,
time to be holy" was sung.
Others taking parts were
Mrs. Donald Perrie, Mrs.
Leslie. Knight, Mrs. Stuart
Stevenson, and Mrs. Wilfred
Strickler, Mrs. John Vanass
.and Mrs. Loren Strickle took
part in, deialogue adapted
from a trite event, in Thailand,
"What a friend We have in.
Jesns", Was sung and the
offering 'was taken by Mrs.,
Jack. Conley and Mrs, Lloyd
Smith.
Mrs. W. Strickler In-
troduced the speaker, Mri.
Don Nolan, who gave An
'interesting talk on the theme
"Responsible - Freedom."
She also told "of her involve-
ment And experience with
"Marriage Encounter" and
responsible freedom within-
family and marriage.
All joined in a'question
and answer period..Mrs..
Vanass, etpressed the thanks,
of the group to Mrs. Nolan.
A brief business meeting of
the W.M.A. was held. Mrs.
Veitch pronounced the
Benediction and ,,a, social time
followed when refreshments
were served by Mrs. Stanley
Fischer, Mrs. Jack Knight
and Mrs. Mac Engel.
CARD PARTY '
The card party on Friday
night was well attended with
17 tables playing. High score
was won by Mrs. Fred
Sawyer and Elgin Adams.
1,6w Count was Mrs. Mac
Abram and.Leslie. Knight.
Mrs. Jack Conley and Cliff
Hoegy received the prize for
lone hands and Mrs,. Abram
for the least moves..
The prizes were donated ,
by Smith's. Red and White,
Listowel, McDonald Buildali?
and Wilfred Stricklers. The
Foresters are holding
another card party, on Friday
evening, March 21 at 8:30.

Mrs. Earl Dunn spent
several days in Listowel with
her father, Stanley Machan.
Sympathy is extended to the
Machan family in the death
of Mrs. Machan last week.
John Vanass left on Thursday for a short holiday

whose birthday is March 7th.
Margaret comes down to the
craft room each morning and
serves the Residents tea,
coffee, and a cookie.
Margaret also takes our
Special Care Residents to
church each Sunday and to
other programmes through-
out the week. We would like
to take this opportunity to
thank. Margaret for all the
little services that she does
for us in the home.
