The need for a larg er
adult workshop and the dif-
ficulties in getting grants to
provide an adequate facility
were the main items of
business at the executive -meeting of the Wingham and
District Association for the
Mentally Retarded last week.
The Jack Reavie Oppor-
tunity Workshop is filled to
capacity with mentally re-
tarded adults from Wingham
and surroanding area, and
there is no room, for the •
necessary expansion to serve'
more trainees, and develop
further programs. At present
along with the living skills
program which includes such
topics as self care, money
handling, speech and crafts.

meet with Jim Jones of the
Ministry of Community and.
Social Services to discuss our
need for a new workshop
The last draw in .the MR
Travel Lottery will be made
at a dinner and dance to
which each ticket holder
received free tickets. The
event will be held on Satur-
day, March 29 in the 13rus-
sels Community Centre. Din-
ner will be served at 7 p.m.

Black's orchestra. Fund-rais-
ing chairman Bill Stephenson
of Wingham announced that
his committee is working on
a new lottery for this year.
