Rae Breckenridge called out the numbers, assisted by... Pob Searson. Turkeys were' won by Billie Carter, Sylvia Pewtress, Steven Johnston, Pat Campbell, Joe W.alker, Karen Shaw, Mrs. Ed Rich, Wanda Stapleton, Terry Anger and Ron Schefter. Mrs. Rich also won $47.50 in the first share-the-weath game of the evening. Mrs. Lillian Newman won $43.00 in the secon share-the-wealth game and James C. Johnston won the $30 special. During the: evening the lucky lottery ticket was, drawn by Mark Boswell of Bluevale and the winner of $500 was Bill Garniss of RR#4 Wingham. Mel Craig Correspondent MRS. JOE WALKER 357-3558 In a meaningful service conducted by Robert Perry, the new officers of the Bluevale United Church Women were installed and reminded of their new responsibilities for 1980. The officers are: past president, Mrs. Wendell Stamper; president, Mrs. Charles. Mathers, first vice-president Mrs. Harold Johnston; secretary, Mrs. Bert Garniss; treasurer, Mrs. Bert Hastings; pianist, Mrs. Glenn Sellers; auditors, Mrs. Larry Elston, Mrs. Doug Garniss. Committee conveners are: Church in Society, Mrs. Murray MacFarlane, Mrs. sold the winning ticket. Jack Searson, chairman of the Bluevale, .Morris Turnberry Action Committee, thanked everyone for coming and announced another bingo will be held in the hall Jan. 18. Mrs. Helen MacFarlane, committee treasurer, asked everyone to save sales slips which can be used to buy equipment for the renovated hall. Upcoming events to be held at the hall include on Old Tyme Country Dance, a variety show and a euchre party. Mrs. Charles Mathers opened the Dec. 5 meeting with a seasonal poem followed by prayer, Unit 4 conducted the worship service which included some familiar Christmas carols. Mrs. Jack Searson presented a message based on the light of guidance, love, service and giving. Mrs. Harold I Johnston played appropriate accompaniment on the piano during the presentation, Mrs. Ross Nicholson read a poem to complete the worship service. Each committee reported its activities during the past year. Mrs. MacFarlane reported for Church and Society; Mrs. Beth Johnston, for World Outreach; Mrs. Stewart for Christian Development; Mrs. Nicholson for publicity and communication; Mrs. Carl Johnston for the flower committee; Mrs. Lloyd .Warwick for In-church Service and Mrs. Peacock for the manse committee. Year end reports were also given by the four unit leaders, Mrs. Carl Johnston, Mrs. J. Casemore, Mrs. D. Street and Mrs. J.
